Lindsay Buchanan

is president of Lindsay Ward Buchanan Architect, Ltd. (LWBA). He has a bachelor of architecture  from the University of Kentucky. He has been a Whiz Kids tutor since 2010 and served on the board of Tylersville Road Christian Church from 2004 through 2010. He serves as board chairperson.

Charlie Borton

is an account executive at Viamedia and a graduate of the West Chester-Liberty Alliance Leadership 21 class. He has a BA in English from Miami University and has done extensive volunteer work with the elderly in nursing homes and through Raskals.

Nancy Holtkamp

is a retired teacher from the Cincinnati Public Schools system. She has a BA in elementary education and a masters in guidance and counseling from the University of Cincinnati. She is past president of Fairmount Day Care Center (a United Way Agency) and serves as a NAMI Ambassador. She serves as board vice-chairperson.

Chris Gaal

is a retired finance and accounting manager with Procter and Gamble and has a B.S. in Accounting from Bloomsburg University. He has previous volunteer experience with United Way and Ronald McDonald House. Currently, he and his wife Linda are volunteer facilitators for NAMI’s Family-to-Family educational class. Chris serves as board treasurer.

Maxine Seelenbinder-Apke

is a retired fine arts teacher with a B.A. from Capital University and a Masters degree in Art Education from The Ohio State University. She founded and coordinates the “Transformations through Art” program held at Harbor House, as well as serving as a facilitator for the NAMI Connections support group.  She serves as a NAMI Ambassador.

Rebecca Woods

is a Chaplain at Twin Towers Retirement Community in Cincinnati and is trained as an Advanced Care Planning Facilitator. She has a B.A. in Speech Communications from Miami University and a Master in Divinity from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. She has worked as a freelance journalist and was previously the Executive Director of the Campus Ministry Center at Miami University.

Paula Harrison

is an associate professor of nursing at Miami University specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health nursing. She holds a Masters degree in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University. She is also the Faculty Advisor for the Hamilton Student Nurse Association (SNA). Paula has received several awards including awards for advocacy, excellence in teaching, and outstanding service. She has a passion for teaching and she is dedicated to serving the mental health community.

Leroy Peyton

is retired from a national technical/customer service firm where he served as Division Vice President/Human Resources Management. He holds a BS in Psychology from The Ohio State University as well as completing several graduate business courses through the University of Dayton. Leroy did a tour of duty in Vietnam with the US Army prior to his over 30 year career in private industry. Leroy has served on several community boards including Urban League, Every Child Succeeds, Sycamore Senior Center, to name a few. He is a volunteer facilitator for NAMI’s Family-to-Family educational class and enjoys reading, golf, and walking in his spare time.

Brad Arnott

has spent 34 years in business, the first 21 years with large businesses as a sales executive and the last 13 years as a small business owner in the credit card processing field. He holds a bachelors degree in Business from Miami University and is a Certified Payments Professional.  Brad has a passion for helping those with mental illness and/or a developmental disability. His family has been affected by mental illness and he seeks to help others who need support and resources for themselves or their loved ones. He enjoys spending time with family, reading, traveling and most sports, especially spending time on a golf course.
